Class: Setting up and Configuring WebDav with Zimbra.

 

Audience: Clients who wish to setup the WebDav feature on Windows XP Professional.

Prerequisites: Windows and Username and password

Who this Applies to: Windows XP Professional

         

 

 

 

 

  

1. Go to Network Connections

  • Click on "Start"

  • "Settings"

  • "Network Connections"

2. Network Connections

  • On the left side of the screen click on "My Network Places"

3. My Network Places

  • On the left side of the screen click on "Add A Network Place"

4. Add Network Place Wizard

  • Click on "Next"

5. Creating the network place.

  • Highlight "Choose another network location"

  • Click on "Next"

6. Address of the Network Place

  • For the Internet or network address this is going to be:

    • https://saturn.datasyncintra.net/dav/YOUREMAILADDRESS

  • Click on "Next"

7. Connecting to saturn.datasyncintra.net

  • Username: Full E-mail Address

  • Password: *********

8. Name the Network Place

  • Name the Network place:

    • ex. (E-mail Address Webdav)

9. Completing the the WebDav Wizard.

  • Click on "Finish"

10. Verifying the file

  • Go back to your network places

  • At the bottom of the screen you will see a new folder with a globe on it.

cd briefcase

get [filename]

put [filename]

ls shows files
