Upgrade Policy

Major Releases

General policy is to not upgrade on the initial release of a major version
– Wait for patches to be released
– Allows for the software to stabilize
– Allows time for critical bugs to be fixed
When a new major version is release for general availability we begin testing
– DataSync Suite's compatibility with the new release to insure that all features work as expected
– Stability of the new version to insure a quality service
Based on the results of testing we'll create an upgrade plan
