Mike Vetter: Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Mike Vetter is the founder of DataSync, and currently serves as CEO. Mike is a business developer who is passionate about building great software to help businesses become more productive. He is involved in building the team, driving growth, and shaping the vision and direction behind DataSync. Mike brings over ten years of experience in sales, marketing, project management, e-commerce, network security, and bank software implementation to the DataSync team.

Mike enjoys all things outdoors, including mountain biking, surfing, and ice hockey. Mike grew up in Madison, SD and holds a B.S. from DakotaState University in e-commerce and computer security.

Michael Moser: VP of Engineering

Michael is responsible for the management and technical leadership of the Engineering team, which has delivered much of DataSync's innovative software solutions. In his role as the Vice President of Engineering, Michael oversees the development and integration of DataSync's hosted solutions as well as the research and development of new technologies enabling small businesses to become more efficient and secure. With more than 20 years of experience with technology and software systems, Michael has a wealth of expertise in systems architecture planning and software integration. 

As the Vice President of Engineering, Michael has managed several initiatives to enhance business efficiency, profitability, and security with technology. He has led the development of DataSync's automated backup system, a multi-store e-commerce system, and a website management solution. Michael coordinated the engineering of an automated quoting system, a vendor and order management system, as well as various integration projects. He led the engineering of internet based software distribution systems and was personally involved in the development of an automated form processing and reporting system.

Before joining DataSync, Michael worked as a consultant providing expertise in web-based software systems. He also volunteered his expertise for a non-profit organization where he worked on the development of a data records management and distribution system.  

Joe Galinanes: Chief Marketing Officer

As the Chief Marketing Officer, Galinanes is concentrating on customer growth and retention for the company. Galinanes brings to the company over 20 years of experience in business development, marketing, technical support and product management skills.

The majority of Galinanes’s career has been spent in the telecommunications arena, where he worked for a midwest MSO, PrairieWave Communications as VP of Sales and Marketing. In addition to PrairieWave, he also served two international telecommunications providers: Cable & Wireless, Inc. as Director of Operations, and Teleglobe International as Director of Global Customer Service.

His start-up experience covers Vice President of Customer Acquisition and Retention for Simplexity, Inc., a telecommunications e-commerce marketplace. In addition, he also held the position VP of Retail Operations for ACN Energy, a retail energy provider based in McLean, VA.  

Galinanes holds a B.S. degree in marketing from St. John's University (Jamaica, New York).  He has been married to his wife, Kelly for 19 years and has three children.

E. Kevin Buell, CPA, DBA: Chief Financial Officer

Kevin is responsible for all accounting functions at DataSync. More specifically Kevin’s duties include managing the general ledger, preparing bi-monthly payroll and monthly financial statements. In addition, Kevin is a full-time, assistant professor, at Augustana College specializing in accounting, taxation and business ethics.

He received his master’s degree from the University of South Dakota and a Doctoral degree in business and accounting from Nova Southeastern University. Along with eight years of full-time teaching experience in accounting, Kevin spent 13 years working as a Certified Public Accountant. His public accounting experience includes working in both the audit and tax sections of regional and local CPA firms including McGladrey & Pullen and Charles Bailly & Co in Sioux Falls and Minneapolis. Professionally, Kevin is a licensed CPA and is currently a member of the South Dakota CPA Society, the American Institute of CPAs and the American Accounting Association.
