DataSync Suite 0.7 beta is now available. The focus of this release was to create a web-based GUI to allow administration of users.

Here are the details:

• Web-based User Management. Administrators can now create, edit, and remove users through a web-based interface we call the “Suite Admin”. This includes granting and restricting access to extensions and integrated applications.

• Extension Configuration Management Updates. This introduces a new concept of “extension instances”, which allow administrators to create a single configuration set for an application and use it across multiple users. Currently, this is accomplished through a command line utility.

• Basic Alfresco Extension Package. This package delivers basic support for including Alfresco Enterprise Content Management in the portal. Support for user management with the Alfresco extension will be released later this year.
