It’s been a wonderful and productive year at DataSync. Here are a handful of highlights:

2009: Super-sized.
We’re poised to have an even bigger year in 2009. Some major items to note:
Shop.
We’re proud to announce the upcoming launch of our e-commerce site, powered by Magento. The store will highlight new, featured, and related products, as well as offer an easy checkout process. This online experience is the one of the first of its kind in the consolidated software market. More details coming soon.
DataSync Suite 0.7 Preview.
Set to release in early February, the main goal is to release a web-based GUI to allow administration of users by:
- Basic user management (add, remove, edit, search)
- User extension management
- Basic application permissions such as COS in Zimbra and team/roles in SugarCRM
- Forced change passwords
- User account locking
- Basic Alfresco extension package – SSO, Portalclient, Connector (adding/removing/locking users)

Funding.
DataSync Corporation announced today that it received Series A Venture Funding in order to ramp up development on its flagship product, DataSync Suite.
